What to Expect

Measurements are taken for the three types of fields (electrical, magnetic, and radio frequency) which are the main types of EMF fields found in every home. This covers power lines, fields from the wiring inside your home, and anything that is Wi-Fi or Bluetooth-enabled.
Measurements are taken both inside and outside of the home which provide the data insights of how your home is being impacted by any outside sources. You’ll also receive a current analysis on impacts to your home from cell and 5G towers.

We’ll typically test different scenarios in rooms that you’re particularly concerned about, or for things that you want to know how much you’re being impacted and what all of your options are. In other cases, we may do test shielding to validate or isolate a signal or when trying to find the source of an issue.

I usually answer lots of questions on EMF products, how to set up your internet if you want an all hardwired configuration, or in many cases, hybrid where you have some hardwired and some Wi-Fi or the ability to turn on Wi-Fi in certain parts of your home if needed.

When it comes to setting up your office, nursery or playroom and bedrooms, we’ll as much set up as possible while I’m there, and if any other solutions require additional planning, I’ll walk you through what all of the steps are, what you’ll need, and about how long it will take or cost, as well as mistakes you’ll want to steer clear of.

When it Comes to EMF Shielding

In general, I try to find solutions for you that get to the root cause and address the issue at the source of the problem rather than suggest a shielding product. Circumstances or technology advanced can change the shielding capability of the product and it can be very costly to go back and remediate the area again. For example, when I was first certified, the range for a Bluetooth device was about thirty feet, whereas today it’s about eight hundred feet with a much stronger signal.

In some cases where the risk is very low and it’s the right circumstance, we will do test shielding to validate that shielding is or is not an option and if it’s truly the best option. For example, I’ve worked with clients who received recommendations to shield their entire house with EMF paint which costs thousands of dollars in the EMF paint alone, not including the primer, paint and labor. One client in particular only needed to address their windows facing a cell tower off in the distance after doing test shielding which was a tiny fraction of the cost and effort had they painted their entire exterior of their house.

How to Prepare

Please don’t turn things off, move things around, or buy any products beforehand, as appealing as it might be to “clean things up a bit” before I arrive. This will allow you to get accurate base level measurements of what you’re normally exposed to and how you’re affected on a daily basis, and what the actual reduction is while I’m there.
